Enjoy Angler House Marina

As a member for the day you can enjoy a cocktail upstairs in our Tiki Bar and even take a swim in our beautiful Garden pool. Capt. Matt will get you loaded aboard the Chubby Mermaid and head out on a short ride to the Alligator Reef Lighthouse or one of the many shallow coral reefs in the area. This private charter is set up for you to pick and choose what comes next.

Where We Go

Islamorada is home to some of the best snorkeling in the Keys. It’s a short boat ride to the Iconic Alligator Reef Lighthouse as well as Cheeca Rocks, Hens & Chickens, Conch Reef, and many more incredible locations.

What's Included

Our boat, the Chubby Mermaid, was built for comfort and safety and carries all the gear we need for a great adventure on and in the water. Plenty of shade and seating for you and your group of up to 6 people is available on the Chubby Mermaid. Capt. Matt Bellinger owns and operates Islamorada Sandbar Fun as well as Bamboo Charters and has been chartering Snorkeling, Diving and Fishing Charters here on the waters and reefs of Islamorada since 1990.

  • Cooler is loaded with ice and water
  • All snorkeling gear is provided
  • USCG-approved PFDs for every size from infants to adults.

Snorkeling is available on any Adventure you book with us with the exception of the Sandbar only trip.

What To Bring

While the weather in the Florida Keys is generally pleasant year-round, it’s advisable to check the forecast before your trip. We recommend bringing SPF clothing, sunscreen, towels and comfortable clothing for your trip. If you have your own snorkeling gear you’re welcome to bring it but we also provide everything for you. Be sure to bring your choice beverages, snacks, and lunches for the trip.

The Islamorada sandbar is nothing less than spectacular. It is situated less than a mile offshore of the Florida Keys and is a beautiful 15 minute boat ride from our dock.
