We had the trip of a lifetime with our kids aboard the Chubby Mermaid with Captain Matt. His knowledge and passion for all the wildlife, and the way he engaged the kids in learning about each of them will be the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Captain Matt. He is a very knowledgeable local guide with a great boat that comfortably holds 6. We caught a variety of fish which we took home and cooked for dinner. Give Matt a call , you won’t be disappointed.

It is a special day when the kids excitingly ask, “when can we do that again!?” We had such an incredible trip with Captain Matt. He truly went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our party had a memorable day on the water, especially the kids.

We had the best day with Captain Matt! He was knowledgeable, personable, and made the trip so much fun for us and our teenager! We caught lots of fish, saw sharks, dolphins, and sea turtles! Matt took us through Everglades National Park, the Florida Bay and onto the Atlantic Ocean side. Our trip was amazing from start to finish! We’ll be back!

Warning. Save this trip towards the end of your vacation because nothing else will top your experience with Bamboo Charters. Captain Matt went above and beyond for our trip! He mixed education and fun, all in one. He took the time to get to know our group and planned our day accordingly. By far the best experience of our trip!
